How to Fix the Calculator App Not Working in Windows

If you're having issues with the calculator app on Windows, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue. Here are some potential solutions:

  1. Restart the Calculator App: Close the Calculator app and open it again. This can help if the app is experiencing a minor glitch.

  2. Run the Windows Troubleshooter: Windows has a built-in troubleshooter that can detect and fix issues with apps. To run the troubleshooter, go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Windows Store Apps > Run the troubleshooter.

  3. Reinstall the Calculator App: You can try reinstalling the Calculator app from the Microsoft Store. To do this, go to the Microsoft Store app, search for Calculator, and then click the Install button.

  4. Use Command Prompt to reinstall the Calculator app: Open the Command Prompt as an administrator, and then type in the following command:

Get-AppxPackage *WindowsCalculator* | Remove-AppxPackage

Once the command completes, you can reinstall the app from the Microsoft Store.

  1. Update Windows: Make sure your Windows is up to date with the latest updates. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates.

  2. Run a System File Checker Scan: The System File Checker (SFC) scan checks and repairs corrupted or missing system files. Open the Command Prompt as an administrator and type in the following command:

sfc /scannow

7. Perform a System Restore: If none of the above steps work, you can try restoring your             system to an earlier point in time when the Calculator app was working fine.

By following these steps, you should be able to fix issues with the Calculator app on Windows.
